Witch Tizard do we believe?

Idiot/Savant sums it up on Tizard:

If you give it out, you get it back. You can't participate in politics in a dirty and underhanded manner and then get upset when people point the fact out or call your motives into question. To do so is purest hypocrisy.

But here, I think Tizard is being a little bit too precious, particularly given her willingness to sling the shit around herself."

And he rightfully points out that Mallard is nothing but a misogynst. I mean, calling a group of women "chinless scarf wearers".

Sounds like another witch hunt from the liberal left.

  1. I noticed that when I couldn't leave a comment this morning.

I was going to leave a comment replying to 'anonymous'(who seems to be a woman?). Anyway, although it is wrong to insult anyone, how would one differentiate between a misogynist insulting a woman and someone who was not a misogynist insulting a woman?
ie, how would one tell the difference?

  2. I noted his bizarre fantasy that his comments threads have attracted trolls disappointed by the demise of "the sewer" - his term for Sir Humphreys. And yet, apart from Dad4justice who trolls pretty much every blog in NZ, about the only trouble he's had on his threads has been from one Brendan "Millsy" Mills, a lefty I don't recall ever commenting at SH. In short, don't blame us mate.

  3. Ultimately, everyone has to decide what level of comments they will cope with. However, unless there have been comments that have since been deleted, this appears to be another overreaction.

Psycho, I guessed that "the sewer" was SH. I always found this amusing as there are many ways of thinking of sewers and to me it always brought to mind the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 with the Poles having to resort to travelling through the sewers in order to survive. Probably not the image Idiot had in mind, though.

  4. As he listened to the cries of joy rising from the town Rieux remembered that such joy is always fleeting. He knew what those jubilant crowds did not know but could have learned from books: that the plague bacillus never dies or disappears for good; that it can lie dormant for years, that it bides it's time in the sewers; and that the day would come again when it would rouse up its rats again and send them forth to die in a free city.

  5. Danyl, you are referring to what is expected from the sewers. But, the unexpected, that is a different thing indeed.

From that point on, “sewer paranoia” developed among the German forces in Warsaw. The Germans lived in constant anxiety that resistance fighters had the ability to come out of the sewers unexpectedly and to strike at German positions from the rear.

Maybe Idiot is suffering from a little "sewer paranoia" of his own.

  6. I/S is of the left and acts according to his programming.

Thus all conservatives are ‘racists’ or ‘bigots’ (as are uppity white people in general).

Thus any debate or opposition to leftist ideas in general creates a ‘toxic’ enviorment, and those doing the opposing are doing so from the blackest (ooh another racist slur!) and basest of motives.

Thus when a man is nasty to a woman he is a ‘misogynist’ (never mind that the the insult in question was directed at just one woman and not all women in general - it’s always a collective in the far-left world view).

And so on, it’s all so predicable really.
