Are you pulling my leg?

The post you refer to was about the importance of identifying Satire as such, and this is what I have done (as Lucia points out)

Also, Satire can be aimed towards people or ideas. In this post, I was satirizing an idea. I don't think I was particularly mocking or denigrating towards The Honourable Leader of Opposition, David Cunliffe.

On the other hand, he has been very mocking of Colin Craig recently - calling him Craaazy. This is the kind of thing you need to target your comments at - such slander and libel from The Honourable Leader of Opposition, David Cunliffe seems to me to be less than honourable. I suggest he will do more to damage his reputation than my own gentle humour.

Thank you for your comment though. It is good to speak up when you genuinely feel an injustice is done.ZenTigerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07888629207437612884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38893560.post-44295698260418685492013-11-15T10:18:35.830+13:002013-11-15T10:18:35.830+13:00Bodab,

I refer to the post 'On the need to identify satire and Colin Craig' by Lucia on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

Summary - satire is lying, and is against the eighth commandment. In fact, 'respect for the reputation of persons forbids every attitude and word likely to cause them unjust injury.'

I guess respect for the reputation of persons depends on who those persons might be, for some.

Kind regards.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38893560.post-33925123155955658132013-11-13T12:20:58.674+13:002013-11-13T12:20:58.674+13:00With David pushing for gender equality in the Beeh...With David pushing for gender equality in the Beehive and his friend Norman blaming the typhoon on man made climate change ( maybe that should be "person change" ... must keep 50/50 in mind mustn't we!) what other serious problem will the opposition come up with next I wonder!!!
If David and his party did win the next election ( please God NO )will he then have a woman as deputy ?
Mrs Macbamachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03356545163658225357noreply@blogger.com
