It's Christmas time by the beach, where every year holiday makers stream out of the cities and head to the more relaxed parts of the country.
The thing is, some of them seem to think that parking on someone's front lawn for days in a row without moving the car is acceptable behaviour.
And it's normally our front lawn, since we are situated behind a number of rental beach houses and right next to the driveway that accesses them.
Bah humbug!

Simple solution - phone the council and have them towed.
ReplyDeleteZ-nails
ReplyDeletez nails just disable the bastards, and possibly leave them in an even more inconvenient position.
ReplyDeleteTowing gives them a fright when they think their car's been nicked, then a tow fee and a fine to rub in the pain.
I wrote a note.
ReplyDeleteLast night, the note was finally read. The car in question departed, and the car parked on the other neighbour's lawn immediately parked on the other side of the road.
As I pointed out on the note, there was parking available on the road. No need to use the lawn.
They both looked like young women just barely out of their teens: ie, no sense of property rights.
