Evening all. Just a one time comment this evening, as I am in Sydney, sitting in the airport shortly before boarding for my flight home.
The weather is pretty dismal here, and apparently no better in Wellington.
I've been too busy to blog, but with Christmas coming up, will surely get to belt out a few posts when everyone is off on holiday and not inclined to spend as much time on the blogs anyway...which sounds eminently sensible.
Maybe it will be the time to finally sort out the template, address the bugs and play with the plugins.
So, what are people planning for the Christmas break? How do people spend Christmas usually anyway? A time of pressure or pleasure?
The lead up to Christmas is always frantic on and off the farm, then there's a carol service on Christmas Eve and we spend a relaxed Christmas Day with family and friends.
We don't pretend we're in the northern hemisphere so do summer food - cold meat, salads, strawberries, cherries . . and everyone contributes so it's not a lot of work for any one of us.
Late start tonight, good evening all. Xmas will be quiet at Barnsley Manor. No children on the day this year so will probably spend the day in the pool with a bottle or three.
Church, then arguments between family members as to why dinner is so late. :)
Same thing ever year.
I saw this on the ODT: ----------- He may be one half of Grammy Award winning comedy duo Flight of the Conchords but Jemaine Clement and wife Miranda Manasiadis have only narrowly escaped the award for worst celebrity baby name of 2008.
Website babynames.com has released a list ranking the monickers of celebrity baby boys and girls from best to worst - and Sophocles Iraia Clement was very nearly the worst.

I get four days off including Christmas this year!
ReplyDeleteIt will be spent at home, in the back yard, charring mammal-flesh over the flame pit, while the kids play on the new trampoline.
Working--as always. We take a week off later in the year when the madness has died down.
