It caused some controversy, to say the least.
The problem with all of this is not that there are so many Muslims, it's more that the Catholic and Christian populations are in a death spiral. We value women more as worker bees and sexual playthings more than we value them as mothers. So many of our babies are being massacred through abortion. It's really cultural suicide that is going on rather than invasion by Muslims.

I don't know about you and your wider family, but in mine, I'm the only one of six children to actually have children of my own. And I only have two. Not even scraping into replacement there.

I heard a story on the radio recently talking about NZ's aging population and how the population demographics were changing and what pressures and changes that might have.
Blatent scaremongering throwing facts and observations around in that manner. No call for it really. Those people should be labelled "age-ist" as it seems they fear old people merely for stating such things, don't you think?
Then some "scientist" came along and spoke for a while about the massive shift that global warming would bring. Gee, now there was some blatent scaremongering too. Those "warmists" for believing such alarmist tosh, don't you think?
For some reason though, the media and some people are very comfortable in being scared on certain topics, and not on others.
Well, after listening to all those different stories, two things are for certain. Nothing ever changes and everything always gets better.
Not sure why we bother with politics really, given those eternal truths.

I did watch the video also, and it made some reasonable points about changing demographics. It reminded me a little of Al Gor's "Inconvenient Truth" in its presentation, so it is probably due for a Nobel Prize.
The stats were definitely at the high end of possibility, and it remains to be seen how much immigrants will be affected by Western culture. It will go both ways of course - change is inevitable, but maybe that French saying will prevail - Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
