Hmmm, doesn't look like anyone has teed one of these up (maybe everyone is playing with fire crackers?), and it's almost 8:30, so here ya go!
Hope you all had a great week!
Definitely into the fireworks. I'm on cat-duty inside, making sure the young cat doesn't either attack the other two who are terrified of all the noise, or run outside when door opens. She's really keen to get out there and join in.
All done, kids are in bed, but not asleep. Asterix (the young cat) was finally let outside after we had finished the fireworks. She sat out there for a while and then came in.
I figured that she was in more danger running around our fireworks than anyone else's, as she tends to stay away from people not on our yard.
Everything went quiet around here around the time we stopped, as well. Hopefully, when midnight comes around, that expected rain or hail will stop the mad people that normally wait until then to blow things up.
Good morning! Grey but mild here. Bonfire Night tonight. Will be off to one in the village at 6pm and my brother is supposed to be having a bonfire as well.

Good evening - no fire crackers here.
ReplyDeleteUsed to buy them and keep them for New Year but don't even do that now.
Have just finished dinner which included barbecued asparagus - yum
Thanks, Fletch.
