  1. Good evening evryone and greetings from Orewa.

    Who's in the coffin?

    Dear Leader?

  2. Yep Lucyna, that would be sufficient a deterrent ... it has all become a little crazy really ... next it will be 'rights' to eat the cadaver and hence take on those more 'endearing qualities' of the deceased ... this is really primitive stuff.
... and g'day to you all.

  3. Ah Good evening all, Ive just enrolled my just-turned-three year old into a childcare organisation. We can get 20 hours free education, you see.

But I've done some sums. We save just 49 cents an hour by doing 20 hours free. Repeat. We get something for free and we pay just 49c an hour less than what we were paying.
    Grrrrrrrr

  4. More likely rights to harvest organs. Although they are a lot more civilized about that. They prefer to take the parts before you are actually dead.

    Evening all.

Nothing like breaking the ice by talking about the dead, zombies and a bit of medical misadventure.

  5. Didn't you read Cullen's fine print?

FREE - or no money back.

  6. That was a fine write up on SNotS, Zen. Perhaps they could be put on to futures trading on Trade me ...under consumables.
We are after all told repeatedly that 'we are what we eat.'

Perhaps 'one step too far.' Trust everyone has eaten ... I just had an exquisite kidney and onion pie washed down with a red wine ... I believe it causes crystals to form on the joints of the big toe ... oh well.

  7. What a start. Coffins, Key, Cullen, and gout.

Anybody shot their own dog this week?

Fnffa, the home of vinegar tits.

For Pete's sake cheer up, or take to the bottle or something.

    George

  8. Evening all. Will one of you believers out there pray for rain in Palmerston North, please? I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

Dave - don't worry, I'm sure National will do a much better job than Labour at providing free childcare (Snarf! Snarf!)

  9. Good evening everyone.

I suppose I have to add that I do not condone what the above picture is saying - but I thought it apt given the current situation in NZ.

Yep, Mojo. I have The Super Lot on SuperLite. Ala pizza from Dominos. No red wine for me until Easter.

  10. Consider it done PM. Speaking of PM, Helen prays for reign. I wonder if she's heading for drought? Given the last 9 years, I think she could be washed up. But hey, this is not necessarily my opinion. I'm just reflecting on Trotter's analysis.

What do you mean George? This IS me being cheerful. Actually, I did shoot my dog this week. But I wasn't thinking. People say "What were you thinking" and then I say "I wasn't."

On a more cheerful note then, isn't it great we've wiped 4 billion off our assets and current account? I'm not actually sure that is cheering news, but Cullen seemed to think so.

  11. BTW, thanks Mojo. I'm still thinking the combo of nip and tuck, a "Tranny Nanny" doing a "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" makeover and Xena going Kiiii-eeeeeie has to be a ratings winner.

At the very least, kids are sure to learn something of value out of such a show?

  12. Well I don't know about you, but I wasn't using that $4.2 bil anyway.

Helen's had 9 good years - more than she gave Mike Moore, Jennie Shipley, Bill English or Don Brash. Surely she couldn't complain? She certainly shouldn't pray for reign - that would invite a divine clip round the earhole for hypocrisy, I expect (and you'd have to figure God would have big hands and a strong arm).

  13. Isn't it amazing to hear Labour complaining bitterly about biased coverage? Considering most of us are not 3, and remember the 6+ years of fawning coverage they got... day after day it's "oh, isn't Helen a brilliant political operator".

    Never mind.

  14. On a completely different note, I was reminded yet again of the blind fundamentalist faith of Athiests after posting about the recovery of Law's daughter.

Do we know if it's just the cancer that's gone, or is the fungus gone too?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Maybe when atheists die, God gives them exactly what they were expecting?

Like the Atheist who was a Mormon. Had no idea why he knocked on doors.

I hadn't heard the latest news on Lucy (Michael Laws' daughter). Are you saying she is recovering? That would be fantastic news, and I wish the Laws family, and especially Lucy, all the best in these times.

    ReplyDelete
  16. For all that I'll be chuffed if Lucy Laws recovers, I'm at a loss to discern evidence of a blind fundamentalist faith in atheism in that feeling.

  17. Zen, I thought Helen reigned to prey.

  18. No, she is recover"ed" - from the cancer anyway.

Today, Mr Laws said the latest CT scan and bone marrow biopsy confirmed Lucy had made “stunning progress”. Lucy was not simply out of harm’s way, but officially in remission from leukaemia.

  19. Zen, I suppose I should send you a bereavement card for your dog. If on the other hand, you botched the job, would a 'Get Well Soon' Hallmark number be appropriate?

    George

  20. Gr, links are playing up again on the blog. Very frustrating.

  21. Me is here.

  22. Hey I've just figured out that if Laws' daughter died (heaven forbid) he would Lucy Lawsless!

    Bad joke. Oops.

  23. .. actually wouldn't it be Lucyless Laws? It would be Lucy Lawsless if her parents died, perhaps?

    That's good news.

    Of interest.

Lucy had some kind of fungal infection, plus leukemia, and pneumonia.

A leading Italian Oncologist. Reckons he can supposedly cure 80% of Leukemia and some other cancers once he treats his patients against fungal infections first. Other antidotal evidence has linked some leukemia and cancers to fungal infections which damage the immune system allowing leukemia, etc to then occur.
