Buying green makes you more dishonest?

Here's a study from the University of Toronto which "shows" that people who buy green products are more likely to be dishonest in other areas of their lives.

Well there you have it folks, hockey stick charlatanism has finally been scientifically explained.

  1. Their thesis has far wider ramifications than a mere sideswipe at people's buying choices, and one I'm inclined to disagree with at first pass.

    It did yield interesting results however. I'm bemused that some people's honesty can be bought for a mere 5 cents a pop.
