Lucia Maria the general threads at kiwiblog are hatefest sessions where depraved creeps like big blouse and dime rule. The internet is the ultimate satanic tool for toxic cowardly trolls.
Good morning everyone. Quite dark here, but still mild. The hobbit made the BBC news the other night. Has anything else happened. My, aren't Liarbour sore losers.
Sorry, everyone. Continued to be distracted by the GD.
D4J, the general threads are ruled by whoever has the energy to sit there. Yes, they can be toxic, but if you put on the armour of God, and all that, and do limited dives for specific purposes, it's bearable. Anyway, I'm beginning to like most of the denizens, warts and all.
Ciaron, Oh, no. Panic month! I vaguely remember being constantly panicked at the thought of exams. Never does anyone any harm. :)
HP, oh my goodness, you're going to be up all night!
FFM, No, not really. The Hobbit is it. We should all be dressing up any time soon, as we are about to have the whole country transformed into Hobbit land, or whatever they call it.
Scrubone, Hi there!

ReplyDeleteEvening all.
ReplyDeleteA very productive week for me, which explains my light blogging.
Just read Trotter's Dom Post opinion piece and now have a topic to blog about. Missed most of the other bits of news.
Good evening - 212 meringues made for staff party tomorrow, 188 to go.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of meringues

Observes tumbleweed, returns to study.
ReplyDeleteOuch, where did that tumbleweed come from? I was sleeping here!
ReplyDeleteNot much of a free-for-all tonight... y'd think the hosts at least would have stuck around :p
ReplyDeleteI'm still counting the meringues.
ReplyDeleteAnd by all accounts, it's a win for the little people with the making of The Hobbit.
Lot of short producers out there!
ReplyDeleteIndeed. I hear Warner Brothers were *that close* to saying: th-th-that's all folks"
ReplyDeletewhy do some people think it is better to have no pie than a little less of a bloody big one?
ReplyDeleteSorry, everyone. Continued to be distracted by the GD.

Hobbit Land is The Shire, part of Arthedain, part of Arnor, in Middle Earth if I recall correctly.
ReplyDeleteCorrect, although looking at the map, Arnor is the lost northern kingdom & Eriador (maybe Elvish) is the region.
ReplyDeleteI'm still wondering if the film is going to feature that Hobbiton king of rock'n'roll, Elvish Presley.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I just came up with that...
ReplyDeleteThat's in the film "The Return of the King"
