US researchers have for the first time injected human stem cells into monkeys with Parkinson's symptoms, seen as a key step in the fight to find a cure.
Whilst we all hope for a cure is found for these monkeys, I'm wondering if human stem cells is the way to go? Why not monkey stem cells? And even if we save the monkeys, what about their natural habitat? We might need stem, branch and trunk cells injected into vast areas pretty soon. But I digress.
