Said the Greens: One really has to wonder at the extent of Brethren involvement in the electoral process worldwide. It seems wherever there’s an election, they are there, spending mega-bucks campaigning to support conservative parties and/or demonise Green parties and centre-left governments. [Greens paranoid about international connections]
Meanwhile, the NZ Greens have joined up with the Australian Conservation Foundation to attack (demonise, to borrow a quaint phrase from the Greens) the ANZ Bank because they have a company on the books that the Australian Conservation Foundation doesn't like. And their policy is Green Policy and vice versa. Not that there's anything wrong with international conspiracies. When the Greens do it.
