I see that in the news today, Labour wants to give the police power to raid party political offices 'to gather evidence of breaches of its planned election spending laws.'
You can almost hear the jack-boots already.
One wonders why Labour, who was the biggest offender in the election spending row, wants to bring this in? Will it be used more against the other parties more than the incumbent party?
I don't like the sound of it, anyway.
