I've finally done it, I've managed to not watch Boston Legal tonight! I have to stay strong, though. It's still on TV. I'll be safe at 10:30pm.
The thing with Boston Legal, is that I've enjoyed the story lines and the characters, but the amoralising was really, really getting to me. Especially all the innuendo between the two male leads.
TV really is a propaganda medium.

No more Boston Legal? Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteIt's life Jim, but not as we know it.
Speaking of the Shatner, I heard him doing a version of 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' last week on NatRad. Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI remember him doing Rocket Man. And I think its going to be a long long time before I forget it.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I don't watch much TV anymore at all. I find most of it boring. I watched some of Heroes, and Jericho (which hasn't been renewed in the States anyway). And Man From Mars was quite good.
ReplyDeleteI think Shatner did that album in the 70s; and the thing is, it was supposed to be serious I think.
"Jericho (which hasn't been renewed in the States anyway)."
ReplyDeleteYes it has (unless they've reversed their reversal of their decision to cancel) - at least seven episodes are to be made, with the option of more if ratings pick up.
His cover of 'Common People' is quite frightening
ReplyDeleteThe thing that got my noodle was the "right wing" (who actually wasn't conservative, he was what the *left* consider to be a conservative) is/was treated/acted like a child, even though he was a lawyer of many years standing, and without defeats.
ReplyDeleteSo the liberal position comes out looking much better. Of course, the conservative position was never presented in the first place.
I'm sure they thought that was very clever.
