I don't know what's happened to our recent comments bar. It disappears, it reappears. Looks like technical difficulties. Won't matter to our Friday Night Free For All where everyone is invited to comment as long as they are not disgusting or blasphemous.
Also, ignore the Read more. I don't know why it refuses to die.
Also, ignore the Read more. I don't know why it refuses to die.
Good evening all.
ReplyDeleteThe Recent Comments is down whenever our sponsor link (of the comments feature we use) goes down.
I'll load another as a backup - but give me a wee bit of time.
Good evening Lucyna. The "read more" is giving us grief over at Rabbit too so perhaps it's a Blogspot problem.
ReplyDeleteHi kg. I'm trying to dig up the information to code my own scripts into Blogger, so we don't need to use the "sponsor link" code.
ReplyDeleteAnd because it's an informal night, please everyone, no need to address me by my formal title, Most Noble and Honourable ZenTiger the Sage of Greater Sodbury! Just ZenTifer is fine.
Oh, and I meant to add that once I can cut that code, you are welcome to an update for your 'read more' code too.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Most Noble and Honourable One.
ReplyDeleteAs a new-minted Very Reverend, I kind of like this titles stuff. :-)
I can't work out exactly why the read more is playing up--the code looks exactly the same as it did before.
Evening All. Bloody cold in Auckland.
ReplyDeleteHello to all!
ReplyDeleteI have to go and get my own title now. Hang on a mo...
LOL!
ReplyDeleteLady Madame Lucyna the Ceaseless of Fritterton on the Marshes.
Oh dear.
The ceaseless?
ReplyDeleteG'day Adolf. It's not exactly tropical in Masterton either.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't give up. That would be ceaseless!
ReplyDeleteSo it would. Sort of. More or less.
ReplyDelete;-)
I return briefly. Have gone out and done some Hunter-Gathering.
ReplyDeleteHave hunted me a couple of Curries and Naan Bread. Now to gather my beer bottles close...
hi all;
ReplyDeleteAdolph you do know what cold is? just checked my thermometer and it is -3 C outside already.
Mind you last Saturday morning it was -12C when I rose from my bed.
I am school holidayed out. The phrase "I'm bored" has taken on the texture of fingernails on a blackboard.
Roll on Monday
And getting into "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mode I trotted off to get a myself a title
ReplyDeleteVery Lord Andrei the Intransigent of Leper St George
sigh
Cold, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder, or the be colder.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Adolf is up for an early start before sun up tpmorow, so I bid you all a fond farewell. A couple of tawny ports should ensure sweet dreams.
See ya all next week.
Adolf
'Night Adolf.
ReplyDeleteHeh. Love the Title Generator.
Good evening Adolf, Good evening everyone
ReplyDeleteLovely wine celler you have Lucyna and Zen
It is bloody cold in Waiwera too, just up the road from Adolf.
I can't wait for the little blighters to be back at school as well.
This is usually a peaceful haven through the week.
EWhy else did I leave the big bad city?
darrenG
See ya, Adolf!
ReplyDeleteThe few frosts we have had around here have been spectacular. There's nothing like looking out into our backyard that slopes down towards the sea and seeing it all in white, including the neighbour on the right's roof. Inside, the coldest it's been is 10 degrees so far. No idea what it was outside.
Hi Darren!
ReplyDeleteHow come you've got kids around?
Hi Lucyna
ReplyDeleteI live on an apartment complex right next to the Waiwera hot pools.
So for much of the week, the public pools have been busy.
Then there is the pool on the complex.
Normally the place is pretty much empty through the week.
The manager says there is just myself and a candaian couple that live here permanently/full time.
The rest are your Remeura types that come up here to their weekend retreat.
So some have been here for the hols and brought their brats with them.
I can hear them splashing outside.
Hopefully after 10pm they will go to bed.
Then I will pop down for a swim.
I did last night and it was great looking up at the stars.
The water is always warm.
Ah. Not long to go now then, Darren. My commiserations.
ReplyDeleteyes, it's gone quiet
ReplyDeletebut it was weird on tuesday
I went down at 9pm as I had no tv and a power surge had messed up my internet
and not long after the lights went out and there was this great big green flash behind the hills towards auckland
but yes, i'll be popping down soon
its the warmest place around here
just had 40 minutes in there
ReplyDeletebitterly cold outside
freezing ones xxxx off until you step in
then gorgeously hot
and freezing again when you come out
nice...the closest I can manage to that is to open the window, pour some cold water over my head, close the window and sit by the gas burner.
ReplyDeleteI'll let you know if it works out..
Cold in NZ ey, well it's cold here in AUS too, though not as bad, you know we had a screening of the Global Warming Swindle just the other day on National TV, maybe mother nature is trying to tell us something.
ReplyDeleteMay I crash your party? (I'm late as well)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to share my new title:
Reverend Countess Dinah the Prickly of Throcking in the Hole.
Throcking in the Hole. Hah!
(I am a bit prickly when it comes to the Mohammedans.)
Great site y'all.
Hi...Just dropped by on a recommend from Crusader Rabbit. Looks like my kind of blog. Adding you to my blogroll for regular visits.
