ZenTiger Climate Change Rocks On

Now that the Live Earth concerts are over, do the Greenies feel like they have created new awareness? Do they feel like they have ended the threat? Of course not. They just had a big party, slapped each other on the back and suggested Al Gore run for President of the World.

What was Al Gore's suggestion? To cut carbon emissions by 90%. Ninety Percent.

It's the HOW that we need to be asking. Let me be the first to confirm that to achieve 90% reductions concerts would be in amongst the huge list of things to be banned. And electrical instruments, sound equipment, flood lights, and those flying contraptions that get super stars from Country A to Country B.

"We can help by doing something small"

Not at ninety percent mate.

I must admit, I found the whole thing underwhelming and hypocritical, "Lets save the planet by consuming 1G direct line feeds to power our amps in 8 cities at once."

Great mate...

And as for Al Gore, has he been making his own version of the SuperSize me movie again?

It was the mini movies that got my goat, the guy climbing up through his house as the water rose. Give me a break, but how about the lttle kids crying because we were destroying the world, shucks, I almost felt guilty.

If al gore could cut his emissions by 90%, that would be a heck of a start.

I am sure that Phil Ure (where has this AGW sucker gone to these days?) & Sonic were staying up all night to watch the pop star hypocrites pollute the stages with more carbon emission.
