Just posted my 2c on Mother Theresa - there's some sicko's on DPF's tonight, that's for sure. :(

Ah, the irony is that MT would be the first to pray for them now. Penn and Teller work on the principle that people in America won't sue because P&T will have insurance to cover for it, and if P&T lost, they would declare bankruptcy to avoid paying.

Not one bit of evidence to support the vitriol I notice....

You're right. I do see some flaws (from my protestant perspective) but she was an amazing woman, we'd all do well to be half as dedicated as she was.

I can't understand the point of it really. Why discredit her like this?

No-one can deny she started the whole thing and its not like MT benefited personally from it....

Just weird...

Like all "objectivists" they hate Christians. Really, really hate Christians.

It's a story as old as Christianity itself.

Aye. But they get a hollow victory. Its not like their offering up an alternative.

I take it that's not 2 truck "loads" of firewood :)

LOL no, two basket loads. Numero three is half gone now too.

I need to move to a warmer climate...

Evening all. I too am just astounded at the vitriol directed at MT. Just left a bit of a rant on DPF's thread. Unfortunately, I think it would take too long to explain the fundamental flaw in their thought processes. It strikes at a much deeper issue.

Maybe the point will work itself out over a few future posts.

I dont think it will work itself out Zen. People on either side will just come away unconvinced of the others side. DPF likes to stir like that occasionally - ratings are his thing.

it seems that the damage caused to houses was in direct relationship to their distance from the tornadoes.

PS, nice photo Lucyna. I wonder if that is the original sky and clouds?
Nice though - you can almost imagine riding up to the castle.
