Friday night free for all [UPDATE]

Hi everyone, I've been having a bit of a blog and internet HOLIDAY while I take advantage of the school holidays to do all those things that take up lots of time that I normally don't have time to do while I'm homeschooling the kids.

But, seeing as there's no FNFFA, yours truly is making a brief appearance to start one up.

Come and say hello to me, ok?

UPDATE: Missed out the word holiday.

  4. Hi Lucyna--we're gearing up for another night shift together here.
Last night was pretty hectic and this shift looks like being the same. Which is good.Much preferable to idleness.
The kittens are great fun too.

  5. Evening all. We live in rather intersecting times. Where did I read the script for the next act? Oh yes, the Bible. Rock on Jesus.

  6. Good evening D4J, KG and I2 (I was going to write Inventory2 but I was on a roll, and look at all the time I saved. No wonder texting is so popular.)

Any-one seen a good movie recently? Things haven't been the same since Arnie became Governor and got older.

  8. "I'll be back" he said.

    I'm waiting. T4, T5. Gimme.

I'm waiting for the bit where Obama invests in a new company called "General Products" and Sarah Palin's daughter marries a certain Conner and kicks off an unfortunate series of events.

  9. Well, I must say that this is an excellent egg and cheese toasted sandwich.

In fact, I feel like another...

  10. Zen, try Slumdog Millionaire. It comes highly recommended. Yet to see it myself.

  11. That's two for the list, thanks. I've been told the 3:10 from Juma (or some title vaguely like that) with Russell Crowe in is supposed to be good, and I still haven't seen the Shawshank Redemption, which is also supposed to be reasonable.

They are both now on the el cheapo weekly list at ye olde DVD shoppe, so I'm getting close to making a decision.

  12. Good afternoon everyone.
Slumdog millionaire is highly rated over here too.
    Cold but sunny today.
Just had macdonalds in a mall.
A few different things available compared to NZ.

  13. Late again, just got home.. Off to bed.. but first a little joke:

    GOOD AND SIMPLE REASONING!!

A mechanic was removing a cylinder-head from the motor of a Harley
motorcycle when he spotted a well-known cardiologist in his shop.
The cardiologist was there waiting for the service manager to come
take a look at his bike when the mechanic shouted across the garage,
'Hey Doc, want to take a look at this?'

The cardiologist, a bit surprised, walked over to where the mechanic
was working on the motorcycle. The mechanic straightened up, wiped
his hands on a rag and asked, 'So Doc, look at this engine. I open
its heart, take the valves out, repair any damage, and then put them
back in, and when I finish, it works just like new.

So how come I make $39,675 a year and you get the really big bucks
($1,695,759) when you and I are doing basically the same work?'

The cardiologist paused, smiled and leaned over, then whispered to
    the mechanic...
'Try doing it with the engine running.

  14. Heh. Excellent.

Revenge is sweet - the cardiologist will probably get a heart attack when he sees the bill. Especially if he also has a Harley.
