A PAEDOPHILE has reportedly made a deathbed confession that Madeleine McCann was kidnapped to order. Raymond Hewlett, who was a suspect in the case, reportedly wrote to his son, Wayne, with details, The Sun said. In the letter, Hewlett claimed she had been stolen to order by a gypsy gang who kidnap children for wealthy couples unable to have kids or adopt.
I didn't notice this news article when it came out, and I have no idea how credible it is - it just sounds too bizarre to be believable.
But then again, I am assured the main criteria around procuring children, is that they go to parents, natural or otherwise, that will love them and treat them well. A wealthy couple desperate to have a child would surely fit that criteria?
