Friday Night Free For All

Been on walkabout this week, traversing the North Island in a rental car. Lots of driving on our scenic roads, the occasional meeting in between. Finally got home and it's my turn to sort out dinner. That's code for takeaways. So off I go to forage for food and will drop in later and see if anyone dropped in sooner.

It was sunny this morning most places I went. Right now it is cloudy and overcast. Sounds like it's a natural time to ask what people's plans for the weekend are. Maybe stock up on SPF 20+? I'm guessing not. I think I need to get stuck into my accounts. End of financial year coming up, probably time to sort out the previous financial year and resolve to keep everything up to date, again.

Oh for a simple PAYE and company tax system. Like, none.

  1. Cool in mornings now. Still stinking farkin hot from noon onwards though. And despite a couple of inches of rain two weeks ago we are now back in the grip of a fearsome drought.

Prawn curry being made for me as I type.
    Oh, and good evening everybody.

  2. Hello Everyone

Cold in the mornings and hot in the afternoons. Grass looks like something out of the Aussie outback.

Daddy day care tomorrow with the wife working. Ideas to fill in 9 hours would be good.

  3. Zen Tiger you should have popped into sunny Tauranga and said hello.

  4. Evening all, lovely afternoon/evening on the Canty plains. Fillet staek just resting after BBQing, a nice Oz Shiraz to sit by it (or be swallowed with it). Be back later to ask a Q about Hell and Cormack Murphy.

  6. Evening all. Good to see hearty meals enjoyed by all.

Ozy, I raced through Tauranga on Thursday. Hit the place just after lunch, two appointments then on to Auckland before 5pm. It would have been hard to get more time there, but hopefully next time (and I'll email in advance, if you email me so I have an address - my email is active on my blog profile). Like your blog design BTW, looking good and operations expanding! I'll drop in again now that I might get a few evenings off from work.
