Paradoxically a warmer world means it gets colder

Damn it is cold today.

I'm so glad our Government is on top of it though. By adding a surcharge to everything to make it more expensive they are able to control the weather so that it doesn't get too hot.

And I am really appreciative of the Government's success in this area as I struggle to keep warm while the snow continues to fall outside.

The carbon traders will be happy though, more dosh rolling in as they collect their cut from the money extracted from the shivering peasantry struggling to keep warm via the power companies and coal merchants to those running the "carbon sinks".

I might throw another log on the fire, it's not having much success in warming my living room but it is apparently helping to melt the North Pole.

  1. Hasn't hit us yet. The snowflake also disappeared from our weather forecast.

Maybe you need to turn on some electric heaters as well?

Don't smirk yet Oswald, it was a lovely evening last night, almost balmy and now my driveway is unnavigatable.

It's on its way to you I'm told and believe me you don't want it.

    It's nasty

  4. We just drove home from Wellington, and it was snowing on Ngaranga Gorge, almost to Porirua, then from Mana to Pukerua Bay. It turned into sleet on Centenial Highway and then rain.

I've turned on the gas fire and even if the power goes out the gas will keep going once lit.
