Somebody should have remembered phi

This storm in a teacup over the spelling of Wanganui could have easily been avoided had the colonists who developed the written version of the Maori language had remembered their classical education.

How about take the opportunity now to correct their lapse now and spell it Φanganui?

It works for Φare etc as well.

What could be simpler?
