We've made it to another Friday. I have some things to comment about, but my duty to provide food and sustenance to my family must come first. Drop in and leave a comment. Service will resume in due course. Or at least, after the main course.
The kitten just got a blackbird. She's been stalking them for months and after her initial success with an injured rat and most likely poisoned mouse, at just on 6 months old she's got her first bird. She's not eaten it though, looks like she's run off to maybe get another one.
Used to live in Scotland. Great palce. Made it to 31 one day I remember. I was at the beach (on a loch) and no one knew what to do. They just went into the water and stood there!!!!
sounds about right. Its been reasonably mild in the garden city, rained yesterday and was cloudy today, but I was tempted to break out the summer clothes.
Hello from North Otago where it yesterday, the sun shone today & it feels like there may be a frost tonight. Calving in full swing, lambing's started.
Nothing wrong wi Soc'land but we were at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh one June 21st, the temperature was similar to what you'd expect here on that day.
However, we were near Aberdeen in late July another year and I got sunburnt.
Ahoi-hoi all. Reporting in from my state of enforced leisure (aka, unemployment). Been reading a lot lately. Not much on the tele. Not much happening otherwise...
