In a display of utter cluelessness

St Matthews in the City's Christmas Billboard "celebrates" the Annunciation - which of course everybody else celebrated on March the 25th.

  1. What exactly is Cardy's problem? Our Lady would have known she was pregnant from the very first moment. He's just trying to make her ordinary, which she most certainly wasn't.

  2. Well Lucyna she actually knew before she was pregnant and agreed to carry Our Lord

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Of course once pregnant she didn't respond with down cast eyes and uncertainty, she responded with the Magnificat

  3. Absolutely.

Cardy needs to read his Bible.

  5. To any non-Christians reading, the Annunciation is celebrated in March, which is nine months before Jesus' birth in December :)
